My first angling experience was a trip to Beeston Canal with my dad at four years old and although I fished a bit, it took a footballing injury and time away from football before I began match fishing. At 14 years old I won my first match, a junior event at Weston Pools, I can remember the peg and weight now - Peg 6 on Stretton and I weighed 24lb! From there I kicked on and the older I have got the more time I dedicated on the bank, winning some brilliant events and lots of matches along the way. My most notable achievments include festival and league wins at venues such as Lindholme Lakes and Tunnel Barn, qualifying for the Match This! final on two occasions and winning the Pole Masters in 2008.
